Website upgrades forthcoming for Mesh Curious microsite

Heyyo! Jacob and I have been working behind the scenes since the autumn to piece together a more comprehensive web presence for the Mesh Curious project on the Dwebyvr.org ghost page. This is imagined as an internal ‘microsite’ similar to the DWeb Camp Cascadia network of subpages.

The site updates will be live sometime between now and next Wednesday March 25, which is when Jacob is confirmed to give a talk at the next DWeb global community meetup talking about our regional project.

It’s exciting that our wee community’s work is going to get profiled. Warmly invite feedback on the webpages once they’re live, I’ll update this topic once it’s all set up.

One new page up! Props to Jacob, he’s doing the writing. Mesh 101

Ghost auto-HTML’d the tables that were drafted in Google Docs. I don’t have the focus/bandwidth to revise the display that’s providing pleasant but also awkward shading on the sides, but I welcome tips if anyone wants a procrastinitem to fix

Sweet, thanks for linking. These are both useful for us to point to, and to learn / model from.
Last week Jacob re-recorded his presentation to the DWeb meetup, which will get posted to IA soon. We’re also hatching plans for a mesh group buy and launch in Gibson’s to coincide with a DWebber farmhang May 16 weekend, at Ivar’s.
